Hard and Great

This is a very hard scene to write, three pages without dialogue, trying to convey what’s happening in a way that makes sense but is also true to the characters and situation. Gah!

I still think it’ll be really cool when it’s done, but getting to that point is a struggle.

But that’s what I love about writing, that it’s hard. It’s like Jimmy Dugan (Tom Hanks) says in “A League of Their Own”: “It’s the hard that makes it great.”
